Begin Technology Partnership on “RYUGU NATION” and “RYUGU LINK”
NEC Networks & System Integration Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President, CEO and CENO: Michitaka Ono; hereinafter “NESIC”) and JP UNIVERSE Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hajime Tabata; hereinafter “JP UNIVERSE”) are launching a technology partnership on “RYUGU NATION,” the RPG-based platform that JP UNIVERSE plans to provide, and “RYUGU LINK,” an ISEKAI Connect RPG that connects the real world with the game world.
As the first initiative under this partnership, the two companies will use “TinyFish” (Note 1), an AI agent-driven web data collection API platform offered by NESIC, to bring real-world events and real-time data into RYUGU NATION and RYUGU LINK. By seamlessly linking users’ real and virtual experiences, the companies aim to create new experiential value and build a framework for regional revitalization.

“RYUGU NATION” is a creative and economic platform based on an RPG game world, which JP UNIVERSE is developing to realize the “Japan Metaverse Economic Zone” concept, supported by leading Japanese companies. With the concept of “Bringing Japan to the World,” it is an ambitious service that creates an economic zone integrating the creator economy and corporate promotion within an RPG space themed after Japanese mythology.

“RYUGU LINK” is an RPG built on the concept “Communication creates worlds,” in which players connect and communicate via smartphone with characters living in another world. Notifications and calls from RYUGU NATION arrive in the midst of everyday life, and the story of that world unfolds based on the player’s communications and choices. Those stories in turn prompt real-world actions such as travel, purchases, and experiences, linking everyday life itself to the virtual world.

In March 2026, JP UNIVERSE entered into a strategic alliance with West Japan Railway Company to create new experiential value centered on solving social issues such as regional revitalization (Note 2). As the first project under that alliance, JP UNIVERSE is building “RYUGU NATION Tottori,” themed after Tottori Prefecture.
The roles of the two companies under this technology partnership are as follows.

| JP UNIVERSE | Develops and operates RYUGU NATION and RYUGU LINK; designs game experiences that reflect real-time data obtained via TinyFish in in-game events and storylines; creates tourism and user experiences; and provides a virtual venue where companies and local governments can engage in co-creation and promotion |
Going forward, the two companies will work to establish RYUGU NATION and RYUGU LINK as a new platform where the real and virtual worlds influence each other, and will offer them as a venue for co-creation by companies and local governments, contributing to regional revitalization.
Note 1: TinyFish
An AI agent-driven web data collection API platform developed by TinyFish, Inc. AI agents autonomously perform web operations just as a human would, such as logging in and specifying search conditions, and deliver the required information—with noise such as advertisements removed—as structured data via API. TinyFish is offered by NESIC.
